Classroom tables in an elementary classroom encourage group work, sharing and inclusiveness. Depending on the table size and shape, the number of students per classroom table can vary. Not all tables in a classroom need to be the same size either. Larger group projects and learning can take place at tables that fit 10 to 12 students. With individual school work, students can sit at classroom tables for two to four students. Students can either face forward, towards the front of the class or on all sides of a square table. The goal of classroom tables is to give a teacher complete flexibility.
