Are these ADA compliant?

Asked by: Michelle
ADA Compliance in regards to eyewash stations is completely dependent on the installation, and the height of the counter top. For this particular counter-mounted eyewash system the countertop would need to be 27" in height for this unit to work within the ADA parameters. Below is additional information from the manufacturer: - Eyewash spray heads must be at least 7" away from any obstruction (Gooseneck Faucet, Items on countertop, overhead cabinet, etc.) - There must be 27" of clearance below the station from the ground to allow access for a wheelchair. - Spray heads must not surpass 36" in height from the ground.
