The UV-Box by Air Science is a desktop decontamination chamber that safely destroys surface DNA and bacteria. Using shortwave ultraviolet light, or UVC, the UV-Box is a fast and effective way to sanitize shared items like lab instruments and tools. A stainless-steel construction naturally reflects the UV rays emitted from strategically placed lamps within the unit and makes cleaning easy. Users can safely view the sanitation process through the transparent chamber window designed to absorb UV radiation. Plus, as an extra precaution, the lamps cannot be activated until the door is securely closed. To help hold and sanitize a variety of items, the UV-Box includes accessory options of a hanging rod and shelf. A timer allows specific decontamination times and cycles to be selected. When not in use, the door comes equipped with a lock on the handle to prevent tampering or unauthorized operation.
