I bought the Bookwell for my grandson, age 2 1/2. Prior, his books kept cascading out of the bookcase we assembled, but the bookwell is fantastic--good height for B-6 years and holds 20 books in each of the 3 cubbies. This is also easy for me who cannot get down on the floor. My son and daughter-in-law love how neatly his books are stored now and they have a bin underneath it for the over-sized books--a complete reading center! I do think this is the best thing ever. As his collection grows, they will feature 50 or so and store the others in a snap bin until he is not going to climb on a set of wooden cubbies. This can later be used for his backpack and some sports balls, Legos or other favorite things. It is solid and safe and does the job in style!
