Does it come with easy directions to mount and does it mount flat against the surface or does it stick out?

Yes, mounting hardware and instructions are included. The tempered glass is only about 1/8" thick and does not include a frame, so it will mount fairly flush to the wall.

Would I be able to have this cut down to a certain size?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like them. I bought two of these that sit in a church youth room for about 60 kids to view. They are used by me for 3 different nights each week. While cleaning them takes a bit longer than a whiteboard, I really like the look and the kids say it really makes our room look cooler. The writing does POP. Get other markers though...the ones included are not the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better looking than I had hoped Shipping was expensive, but it is a giant piece of glass. And Someone did a masterful job of packing. The instructions tell you to hold the glass up and mark the locations. Been 32 ft.² of glass I thought this was a little much, fortunately I work in a factoryAnd had access to 1/8 ply. I made a template , And use that for the markings and everything else was a cinch. When people first walk into our board room they think it’s the largest flatscreen television they’ve ever seen.
