Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but... As an Activity Director that works with seniors in a memory care unit, this is a great idea. However, I would like to propose that a similar product be made that is more appropriate for seniors. I see this product in many of the nursing home supply catalogs for activities. However, I would LOVE to see a brown plastic board (resembling a piece of wood) and gray screws (that resemble actual bolts). This gives a more realistic look for senior adults. My 4 year old son has this item as well and he loves it. It works great to strengthen find motor, color recognition, pattern recognition and so many more teaching moments for kids.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Concept/Poor Quality My two-year-old received this as a gift for Christmas and enjoyed it from the start. Even his five-year-old sister enjoyed using it to make the designs included in the package. However, reverse on the drill never worked and now, after six months, the drill has stopped working all together, rendering the product practically useless. Quite disappointing for an activity I had great hopes for being one that my son would really enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son loves this toy! As soon as I saw this toy, I knew my son would love it. He loves building things and so this is the perfect construction toy for him using the drill, tools and drill bits. He played with this for a solid hour, first "building" the activity cards and then became more creative by making his own pattern shapes. He loved drilling the bolts in just as much as removing the bolts once he was done. Not only is it a fun toy, but it's a bonus that it's a great STEM activity and helps with his fine motor skills...highly recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great gift for my kids with some drawbac My kids love this and fought over their cousin's - We got it as a gift from their grandmother. Once we got it home and got it opened though, we found that the screw to open the bottom of the drill did not re-screw into the threads with batteries in it. So now we have the bottom of the gun taped shut and we have to retape it every couple of hours. It's a huge pain but the kids like it in general.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 in one We just got it. So fare everything works good. In fact we made up several educational games out of it. I set up five colors, took one away and kids had to guess which one is missing. To make it harder, make a pattern, take away one, or two colors, they have to guess which one is missing. We mixed all bolts together and I gave each child their own color and they had to pick bolts of the color they got from me. The one who picked first say DONE and if there are no more bolts of his color, he wins. We played tic tac toe. One game I have in mind is to play sequence. You may have up to 4 players in it. And of course you make a pattern and your child continues it. So many games. I just want to help parents to find a good use of this game. Someone who is very smart invented it and now our kids enjoy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creative and fun toy for kids of all ages! We already own a design & drill set so I knew my kids would love this activity center and I was right! My girls who are 4.5 years old and 2.5 years old loved creating different designs and I loved seeing them take turns using the power drill and screwdriver. This set comes with 20 activity cards so my 4.5 year old enjoyed picking an activity card and creating it on the board. I love this is helping both of them to work on their fine motor skills and it is also teaching them to share, count, practice their colors and be creative! All the pieces are durable and high quality and even when my 2.5 year old is a little rough with it, it still works perfectly! This is the perfect indoor toy and I love that it can be played with by both of my kids in different ways. Also it is a great toy that kids can grow with and play with for many years! Highly recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smoking Gun My 3 year old son recieved this for Christmas this year. The second time he played with it the screwdriver started to smoke and now the forward motion will not work. It's too bad because this has the making of a great toy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor making of the drill I bought this toy through [...]. My 2.5yr old boy was so excited when he opened it, so we put in the battery and find that the battery door was unable to close as we turn the screw in. But since my boy was anxious to play w/ it, we just tape the door close. He played for like 3 days and got bored w/ it and we put it away...and totally forgot about the door problem. We even forgot about this toy till 2 months later, we took it back out and let him play...it works fine except the battery door sometimes open when tape is loose. Then we thought we deserve a new drill since the door would not close from the start, [...] I contacted the manufacturer, but they would not do anything about it because we bought it through [...]. We're very disappointed, this is just poor customer service!
