Use Rhythm Band's Boomwhackers to effectively teach percussion music to your students. Each colored plastic tube has markings to let you know what note the tube plays when struck. Choose from several sets in different note ranges.

Which is used more...diatonic or chromatic? Are these single or glued together or have a stand to slip them into? Does it have paddles?

Asked by: Sherry
It is a personal preference to use either the diatonic or chromatic set. The tubes are separate - not glued together. A stand and/or mallets are not available.

I want to use these outside on a toddler music wall. In my plan they will be mounted. Will they hold up to being outside and will mounting affect the sound

Asked by: Laurel
When mounting this set of Boomwhackers, as long as the hole drilled is ¼ of the way down the tube, it should not effect the sound. For outside use, the sun will eventually fade the product and the extreme temperatures can lead to the tubes warping to cracking over time.

Asked by: BETTY
These plastic tubes are handheld and do not require installation. Strike the tubes directly against a hard surface or tap them with a mallet to hear the tone.
