Rated 4 out of 5 by MusicEducator from Reliable but... Our school bought these risers for our 100+ student Grammar and Rhetoric school choirs. They are gorgeous and extremely sturdy! My students say they feel stable and supported, and aren't worrying about falling off. The parents constantly comment on how nice the stage looks, and how they are able to see their child now that we have appropriate risers. However... If you are looking for collapsible and movable risers, these are not ideal. Unfortunately we are in a situation where our risers have to be broken down and moved after each performance. While these risers are collapsible, and relatively easy to store, they are VERY heavy. In order to move these, we have to rally a group of 5+ people to break things down and haul them away. In short: sturdy, but should be purchased if they can be left on the stage.
