If this is used in a child care setting, is there a way to mount/secure it in place or is that not necessary with this stool?
This step stool does not mount/secure to anything. However, if used correctly it should not need to be secured.

Best steps for kids!
We have four of these in our house. They are great for bathrooms, especially. Our kids use them and love them and they are just a great product. They have not damaged floors or cabinets. The handles and step grippers are in the right place. This is a well-engineered product. The steps we bought five years ago look just like the most recent steps we purchased last month. They wear like iron. I just can't say enough about this product. It is so awesome when a company actually gets it right!! Fast delivery, great customer service... if there were ten stars, they would get ten stars from me!
