The side panels of the Smith Carrel Maximum Privacy Modular Carrel extend 6 1/2 inches from the work surface, so you shield students from distractions as they work. Choose a fixed work surface height of 29 inches or an adjustable height of 24 to 29 inches for your melamine laminate study carrel. Keep in mind that Smith Carrel Adder Units must be attached to Smith Carrel Maximum Privacy Modular Carrel Starter Units and will not function alone.
