The distance between the shelf and work surface is 18 inches, so even large monitors fit in the space. Choose a fixed work surface height of 29 inches or an adjustable height of 24 to 29 inches for your melamine laminate study carrel. Keep in mind that Smith Carrel Adder Units must be attached to Smith Carrel Modular Computer Carrel Starter Units and will not function alone.
