Stanchions & Crowd Control

The right tools can help manage foot traffic in hallways and common areas by directing people where to go. While generally used for crowd control purposes, stanchions and gates do much more. For more formal events, metal stanchions with velour ropes can create queues for people to stand in as they wait to enter an auditorium or theater. Retractable belt stanchions are an "all-in-one" crowd control device as the rope has been replaced with a belt that is stored inside the stanchion. Visual cues can be added with message holders and floor stands. Messages can be customized with letter boards, hold posters or other signage, or written on whiteboards framed on a floor stand. These messages can guide people where to enter, exit or wait, all to manage crowds. Gates are another means to prevent people from entering an area. This can be for safety reasons, after-hours or for events with ticket purchases. Choose from more permanent gates to those that are portable in various lengths to fit most any hallway.
