Perhaps the most used piece of furniture in any school is the classroom chair. Not only must it be exceptionally sturdy, but comfortable enough to sit on for extended periods. It needs to accommodate a variety of weights and sizes, plus, in many cases, be able to slide across the floor as students enter or leave their seat.
