Having wall-mount markerboards in the front of a classroom is a popular choice for many schools. They provide a teacher a workable surface to instruct students that is reusable. Markerboards are made from several types of material - steel, glass, acrylic, melamine and porcelain-on-steel. Deciding which to use depends on whether or not magnets will be used. If so, opting for those made of steel or glass is the way to go. Sizes vary greatly for wall-mounted markerboards. Some of the longest we carry extend 16-feet. Other options come equipped with sliding panels to extend the surface to work on. Choosing a size will depend on what space is available and how it will be used.
