The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County, including services to nearly 86,000 public and non-public school students and over 6,000 educators.
COSTARS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's cooperative purchasing program and serves as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units and state-affiliated entities are able to leverage contracts established by DGS to cost effectively and efficiently identify suppliers with whom to do business.
The Northampton/Monroe/Pike County Joint Purchasing Board, born in 1997, encompasses 13 school districts and three vocational-technical schools.
