School Outfitters, one of Cincinnati’s largest private companies, today announced that they have converted to be 100% Employee Owned. Known as an ESOP, this company structure allows the employees of the company to earn shares in the company in addition to their regular compensation and bonus. Employee owners ultimately benefit from their efforts in the form of a significant retirement benefit that grows as the value of the company grows.

The change was made August 31, and announced to employees at a celebration on Friday, October 28.
Founded in 1998 and located in Norwood, School Outfitters is one of the country’s largest providers of furniture, fixtures and equipment for K12 schools.
